“To me, dentistry and implant surgery are not an assembly line but a craft – one I practise for each patient individually, with millimetre precision and German discipline.”
Dr. Coşkun studied dentistry at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, graduating in 2000. He worked as a dentist in Germany for around 20 years; today he focuses exclusively on implant dentistry in Istanbul and has placed more than 10,000 implants. His licence is registered with the Turkish Ministry of Health. He looks after his patients personally – from the first contact to the final check-up.
An implant is a long-term decision. Here you can see at a glance what you can rely on – from planning to after you get home.

For materials, planning and hygiene we follow the standard you would expect in Germany – and document everything in writing.
Straumann (Switzerland), Ankylos (Germany) and Hiossen: systems with long-term clinical data. The batch number is entered in your implant passport.
With CBCT and digital planning, the implant's position, angle and length are set to the millimetre before surgery.
Single-use surgical kits, a documented sterilisation chain and a hygiene protocol to European standards.
Treatment report, X-rays, materials used and implant passport: your dentist sees everything.
Dr. Coşkun personally handles your treatment from planning to the final check-up – and speaks with you in English or German.
Bone and gum health are assessed first; if necessary, treatment is split into stages. The goal is durability, not speed.
Diagnosis, plan, risks and alternatives – before the first incision, without an interpreter, from the dentist himself.
System, size, batch number, X-rays and report – so your dentist at home can take over follow-up without difficulty.
No call centre: you talk to the dentist who treats you – even after you are back home.
The implant has to fuse with the bone before the permanent crown is fitted. That is why you usually come to Istanbul twice – with time at home in between. Hover over a step – the plane flies there.
You send your current panoramic X-ray (OPG). Dr. Coşkun sends you his initial assessment and your personal treatment plan.
3D X-ray, precise planning and surgery. Hotel and transfers are arranged for you.
The implant fuses with the bone. You can ask Dr. Coşkun your questions directly.
Digital scan, try-in and fitting of the permanent crown or bridge.
Implant passport and report for your dentist. Written warranty terms.
With All-on-4, a fixed temporary bridge is usually fitted on the first trip – you won't go home without teeth.

Usually you come twice: first for the implant, then – generally after 3–6 months of healing – for the permanent crown. The exact duration depends on your findings and is stated in your treatment plan.
Send a current panoramic X-ray. Dr. Coşkun assesses your bone and general situation and tells you honestly whether an implant – or another solution – makes sense for you. Poorly controlled diabetes, heavy smoking or certain bone medications (e.g. bisphosphonates) can increase the risk; we discuss this in the initial assessment.
German, Turkish and English. Examination, explanations and all correspondence are handled directly with the dentist, without an interpreter.
Yes. The first assessment based on your X-ray is free and non-binding. Without an X-ray, we can start with a short video introduction.
We work with Straumann, Ankylos and Hiossen. System, size and batch number are recorded in your implant passport – so any dentist can continue your care.
The implant is placed under local anaesthesia; during the procedure you usually feel no pain, only pressure. Mild swelling and sensitivity in the following days are normal. We discuss every step beforehand, and you can pause at any time.
Honestly: public health systems (e.g. the German GKV or the UK NHS) generally do not cover planned dental treatment in Türkiye. Private dental insurance may reimburse part of the cost depending on your policy. Before treatment you receive a detailed, itemised cost plan; please check reimbursement with your insurer in advance.
You can reach Dr. Coşkun directly on WhatsApp. With your documents, your own dentist can take over check-ups. Warranty: implant 10 years, crown and bridge 5 years – set out in writing.
Your own dentist. Thanks to the implant passport and treatment report, the system, size and X-rays are clearly documented for them.
